The CranioSacral System is a semi-closed hydraulic system in which there is a closed container with a regulated inflow and outflow mechanism. This 'container' is the waterproof and relatively inelastic but very strong Dural Mater. The Dural Mater membrane is shaped like a tadpole, and forms the tube that runs downward through the vertebral canal, connecting the head with the tail bone. Problems in any of these areas can broadcast up and down the tube to cause symptoms elsewhere. An injured coccyx can cause a headache etc.
Once the restriction and tension have been removed from CranioSacral system, this stimulates the flow of cerebrospinal fluid to nourish our brain cells and central nervous systems. As Kyoko has a degree in complementary medicine and has also studied neuroscience, she is very much familiar with all these malfunctioning brain problems.
She treats babies with colic and sleeping problems, children with emotional problems and teenagers who cannot cope with stress at school and adults with any problems with head - sensory and nervous system in addition to her work with special needs children such as ASD, ADD, ADHD, CP and LD.
Kyoko has been very successful in treating children with ASD, ADD, ADHD, CP and LD. She has tailored a special program which involves treating them once a week for 3 months. Once they are committed to the program, she is very confident of seeing great results with any of them.
